Lillie Elmira (Rupp) Johnson, 90, widow of Luther D. Johnson, passed away on July 2, 2017.

Born in Junction City, Kansas, on June 28 1927 she was the last surviving child of Sarah and Brady Rupp Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Douglas, two brothers, Russell W. and Brady H. Jr., one sister, Joyce, two sons, Michael E. and William D. Johnson, and one grandson, William Pridemore Jr.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Donna Noon, (PA), Shirley Crowley, (Topeka, KS), and Linda Burrison (Oklahoma), one step-daughter Emmerene Green (TX), two sons, Luther H. "Shorty" (Wakefield, KS), and Robert D. (Lansing, KS). She is also survived by many grandchildren , great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Lillie attended school in Junction City, Kansas. She worked for many years at Park Laundry and retired from the Fort Riley QuarterMaster Laundry.

Relatives and friends may call at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Junction City on Monday, July 10, 2017 between the hours of 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Association, 3625 SW 29th St. #102, Topeka, KS 66614.
