Funeral services for Sharon L. Moody, 52 of Junction City will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Zion United Church of Christ with Reverend Nikki Woolsey officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Hill Cemetery, Chapman, KS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street. Sharon's life was taken on March 15th at her residence. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be designated to Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel to help with funeral expenses.

Sharon was born May 19, 1962 Fort Riley, KS to Frank and Sylvia (Lindhorst) Opunui

Sharon was a homemaker for many years and had also managed the Cappuccino Junction Coffee Shop and was currently employed at Grandma Hoerner's.

She married Roland Moody in 1988 they later divorced but had remained friends.

She adored her children and her granddaughter. Sharon was a wonderful person with a beautiful smile and warm heart she will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Sharon is survived by her Daughter, Racheal Moody (Paul Pagan) of Junction City, KS; her Son, Eric Moody of Manhattan, KS; granddaughter, Eva Pagan; her mother Sylvia Ehlers and Step-Father, Carl Ehlers of Junction City; Two Brothers, David (Linda) Alexander of Junction City, KS, Kenneth (Linda) Alexander of Minot, ND; Two Sisters, Elizabeth (Keith) Jeffers of Salina, KS, Patty (Michael) Hurwitz of Topeka, KS.

She was preceded in death by her nephew, James David "JD" Alexander.
