Kendra Marie Miller, 30, of Junction City, KS, passed away on March 19, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2018, at 10:30 am. at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington St., Junction City, KS 66441.

Calling hours will be held the night before, Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. at the funeral home.

Kendra was born on August 5, 1987, in Monterey, California to Leslie Miller and Patricia Brisby. As a young girl she grew up in many places. The three she was most familiar with were California, Mississippi, and Kansas. She ultimately settled in Junction City, Kansas, where she graduated as a Blue Jay from Junction City High School. She went on to earn her Associates Degree from the University of Phoenix.

Kendra had musical interests. She was a band member at the Junction City High School. Her instrument was the flute.

She is loved will be dearly missed.

Kendra is survived by her loving family: her mother Rev. Patricia Brisby of the home; father Leslie Miller of New Haven, CT; and a host of loving family and friends.
