Celebration of Life:
Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Elk's Lodge, 723 S. Washington Street, Junction City, KS
Matt Thrasher, 30, of Junction City, KS, passed away on October 4, 2017 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Elk's Lodge, 723 S. Washington Street, Junction City, KS. Inurnment will follow the celebration at Milford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be given to his mom Teresa Thrasher with a memorial fund to be determined at a later date.

Matt was born July 21, 1987, Junction City, KS to Teresa Thrasher and James Thrasher. From the time Matt was about 5 years old he loved wrestling and baseball and was on the wrestling teams and played baseball all through his years in school, he graduated from Junction City High School Class of 2005. He went to MATC and graduated in Carpentry. He had worked as a pressman at the Daily Union and was a cleaning technician for Rainbow Restoration.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time at the lake, but most of all He loved his daughter Maddie, she was Daddy's Girl and he spent all of his spare time with her and the rest of his family and his cherished friends and he loved coaching his nephews in baseball and football.

Matt had a very special bond with his Mom and they shared a love of the Dallas Cowboys and the KC Royals and cheered on many JC Brigades games together.

Matt is survived by his 8year old daughter, Madison Thrasher of Junction City, KS; his Parents, Teresa Thrasher of Junction City, KS, James Thrasher of Junction City, KS; his Sister, Heather Greenstreet of Junction City, KS; his Brother Corey Thrasher of Emporia, KS; his Grandmother's, Janice Greenstreet and Shirley Bowers both of Junction City, KS; his Nephews, Mason and Lane and his Niece, Grace all of Junction City, KS; his Cousins, Donnie Leafstrand of New Smyrna, FL; Morgan and Lody Black of Hays, KS; Raegan and Adam Garbin of Girard, KS; his Aunts and Uncles, Glynis and Bob Noltner of New Smyrna,FL, Devon and Julie Potter of Abilene, KS and many, many close friends.

He was preceded in death by the two most special men in his life, his Grandpa, Don Greenstreet and his Dad, Jim Lafitte
